We are the women's ice hockey team at the University of Iowa.
The 2023-2024 season will be our 10th season with the Women's Central Hockey League (WCHL). The 2017-2018 year was a record-breaking season for us as we won the WCHL Championship title for the first time in organization history then following up in the 2022-2023 season had a record statistics and winning the WCHL adding another season to the books. We hope to join the ACHA next year!
Founded in 2013...
The Hawkeyes currently offer two teams: a Travel Team and an In-House Team. Tryouts are required to join our Travel Team. Our In-House Team is for players new to the game of hockey. No matter which team you make, we ask that all players be willing to dedicate themselves to maintaining a strong work ethic, love for the game, and will to compete.
The Hawkeyes play out of the The Rink at Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville, Iowa.

The lady Ice Hockey had an outstanding 2022-2023 season. Our ladies finished 11-5-4 and scoring a total of 81 goals this season! Along with this amazing season we are WCHL playoffs Champion title holders! Now holding a record of WCHL titles!
"The Women's Ice Hockey Team had an outstanding 2017-2018 season, finishing with the best record in University of Iowa women's hockey history. Not only did the team place at #1 in their division within the Women’s Central Hockey League, but five of their skaters made it into the Top 10 for goals & assists in the league. The Hawkeyes then wrapped up their season with an undefeated run at playoffs, grabbing the WCHL Championship Title!"
